About This Course
Networking basics I is one step more in the understanding how the Internet works. The course compiles a set of lessons including the lower-layer protocols most used on the Internet. This course comes after Networking Basics 0, which provides to participants with an understanding of the key concepts of Internet architecture and protocols.
What are the course objectives?
- To understand the concept of layer 2 protocols.
- To see how Ethernet have been evolving during the last decades to shape the current implementation.
- To understand some advanced VLAN techniques to improve the layer 2 protocols.
Who should attend this course?
Anyone wanting to learn about Internet protocols and basic concepts on networking.
