About This Course
This course is all about how the Internet works. It is aimed at beginners in computer networking and people entering the Internet industry. The course introduces the concepts of computer network, protocol and protocol stack as a first contact with the networking world.This course will provide participants with an understanding of the key concepts of Internet architecture and protocols.
What are the course objectives?
- To understand the concept of network by means of current examples.
- To see the need for protocols to make computers talk the same language.
- To organize protocols into a stack to conform reference models such as OSI and Internet.
